There’s a certain kind of magic I live for…
When aligning for physical travel, I tend to gravitate towards manifesting spaces & places filled with greenery, vast open land and WATER. There is such beauty in not solely being present in such spaces, but in capturing & sharing their purity as well.
While preparing for an adventure, there is a balance of great in depth research of the land and leaving sacred mystery to the journey for discovery upon arrival. For the past few years I have been setting forth shooting more than ever, creating self-portraitures, art, and submitting photographs to publications of lands – near & far – in hopes to inspire others to get out & explore themselves – and on a spiritual level, their SELF. Costa Rica proved to be an incredible addition to my storybook, as it provided natural beauty to admire as well as the soothing vibrations that allow one to go inward.
Packing up my camera gear (body, lenses, tripod, chargers and extra battery packs), I set forth to a mind-blowing waterfall with an incredible being who I can only describe as such. After a long hike DOWN, the magnitude of this waterfall’s power almost (quite literally) blew me away. Am so pleased with this capture it’s ridiculous, and more so – that was able to survive the hike back UP as well (it was INTENSE! lol to say the least).
For those looking to set out on their own adventures, I have recently found out about the Olympus® OM-D E-M5 Mark II and all of its amazing features (three of which are musts in my book: waterproof body, full HD 1080 video, and built-in WiFi!). Currently considering this purchase as they have a promotion “Olympus Takes You There” which offers a free domestic U.S. flight with purchase! Just saying, pretty neat – and provides the travel perk WITH camera haha 🙂 Anyhow, here’s to plenty more adventures ! Currently in London working with my team on some creations 🙂 Believe next stop for me is Paris to run around the city of Love and create some magic.. where would you go if you had a free ticket anywhere in the US?!
